HIGH TOUCH 2009! Pokemon Opening Remix: HQ Ffff I love this version SO MUCH BETTER. Can't wait until they release the instrumental, so pretty ;o; Last year's/original version for those curious.

Aaand the anime's back to Amusing Filler With Some Important Points! territory and taking a break from plot! Now really going into the ep, but the basic summary is a giant tentacle-plant monster sucks the life energy out of Pokemon to help a dying tree. And gives them berries afterwards.

Also, cuz I don't feel like making a separate post--I've been spamming Ash's journal a lot in pokedressing lately! His journal is still primarily for keeping up with canon and CFUD stuff, but on the chance I start rambling and essaying about RIVAL!!1 stuff involving Paul, Silver, Red, and possibly Gold, uh, that's why. And also why he hasn't been too active in camp the last month or so. I STILL LOVE YOU CAMP, BUT I GOTTA GET MY RIVAL ON.

AFTERMATH of the Ash vs Paul battle. Ash proves once again, he's way too stubborn to stay depressed longer than 24 hours. Shoot, I don't even think it was a FULL DAY.

That aside, there were so many amazingly zany expressions this episode. POKEMON: NEVER TAKE SERIOUS BUSINESS SERIOUSLY.

IN SHORT: Ash likely did learn something from his battle with Paul, but he isn't going to give up on his way of thinking just because he lost one battle. HE'S ASH FREAKING KETCHUM and come hell or high water, he's gonna frolic with his Pokemon and kickass doing it. HAPPILY. o/ The end.

The first half was neat too, and feels so OFFICIAL with everyone switching out their Pokemon constantly. Hahahah Ash's chooses Buizel first and immediately calls him back when Torterra is out. GOOD CALL, YOU'RE LEARNING, ASH. And Gliscor gets in a few good hits too though it's recalled. I think this is the first time Ash has REALLY gone against someone with a full powerhouse team so. He's adjusting. KICK HIS BUTT IN THE LEAGUE, ASH ;o;b

OKAY SO EVERYONE KNOWS about the Heart!Gold/Soul!Silver game remakes. Now they've released new Ken Sugimori art of your rival, Silver!1 You know, the original red-headed douche from Gold/Silver?

Clearly new art = COMPLETE DESIGN CHANGE. I, for one, am not complaining |D hahaha if they keep Paul through the inevitable anime Johto season and change his design to that I will lol forever.

PAUL VS BRANDON!!11 Not going to go into it but basically Brandon kicks Paul's ass \o/ VERY ONE SIDED BATTLE. And it isn't confirmed that he's Paul and Reggie's dad :|a I STILL THINK HE IS. JUST LOOK AT HIM. AALDKFAF

But what's important is how ANGRY PAUL IS. So have some ANGRY PAUL. And angry Ash because Paul is a jerk who doesn't accept his "Let's be friends :D" shounen speeches hahahaha Man the animation is so nice recently too ;o; POKEMON YOU ARE SO AWESOME WHEN YOU ACTUALLY HAVE A PLOT THING KEEP IT UP.

NO ONE CARES BUT ME BUT!!!1 Ash got his 7th Gym Badge \o\ /o/!!!1 4 vs 4 at the Snowpoint gym, the first few battles were rushed but Abomasnow vs Chimchar was both awesome AND hilarious. It's just the little details that made this episode wonderful ♥

There is also a Team Rocket mini-plot ending with a Skuntank chasing them off with a fart. I am not kidding.

OOC in General: TRY TO PLAY EVERY FEW DAYS. I'm so tired and have so many things to work on that I end up doing nothing after I get home from work. And I sleep a lot. And Spring sucks. I'll just. Work on this. But overall I'm pretty zennish with camp. It's just become another 'thing' for me, but I still love it a lot \o/

HELLO I am horribly distracted for the next. . .I don't know when. But still around! I get online around 9pm and try to be in bed by 2am so that's -some- time for RPing! But for the next idk how long if I'm nicked to 'Ash|Busy' or Ash|MAGICALJOURNEY or some other dumb name, it's likely I'm distracted making a futile attempt to achieve a sekrit goal/dream/SELF SATISFACTION THING I just set like a day ago orz I'll probably give up in a few days.
